I’ve been visiting Vermont my entire life. My grandparents retired there, in the 1970s my parents helped built their home, and now the next generation is happily adding to the decades of family history. Inspired by the peaceful mountains of Vermont, the slower pace of living, and the memories made with people you love, North Hollow Threads has been created to bring the joy of something made with love to both the every-day and special. All goods are handmade (with the assistance of a sewing machine of course) in Hershey, Pennsylvania and occasionally one of my favorite places in all the world, North Hollow, Vermont.

I source my fabrics and supplies nearly exclusively from small business owners, most of whom are women and families.

Hi! I’m Meg.

Two years ago, I decided it was time to leave the world of politics and law in favor of child-raising and home-building. I wouldn’t say it has been a less stressful endeavor, but most days, I have found it to be much more rewarding.

Although they are still small, as my children have grown, I have wanted to find a meaningful way to pursue something that brings me personal happiness outside my roles of mom, wife and manager of a household as well as something that challenges me and gives me personal growth. Hence, North Hollow Threads.

Sewing for me is a respite from every-day stress, the opportunity to exercise my creative and mathematical minds, and a chance to bring joy to others I care about. North Hollow Threads is the manifestation of all that and more.

Thank you for your support of my vision. I hope your homes are made a little brighter with what you find here.
